What is a COM API ?

COM stands for Common Object Model and is the standard Microsoft model for building interfaces that can be used by all Microsoft programming languages and software.

API
Technically, an API is defined as "A set of software functions, used by an application program as a means for providing access to a system’s capabilities and data".

What does this mean to you?

This means that through the ITRDS you can integrate your Rams data with other applications such as as WEB sites, CRM packages, accounting packages. In fact any windows platform software or programming language that supports COM. This includes VB Script, C#, C++, VB, ASP, .NET.

The ITRDS currently has two versions. One for Rams Pro (DOS) and one for Visual Rams Pro.
